Gloria Olufunke Okoya is a seasoned Investment Banker with over 27 years of experience in the financial sector. Her expertise spans Corporate, Commercial, and Investment Banking, as well as Credit, Risk Management, and Compliance.
Funke earned her MBA from Business School, Buren, Netherlands and is an alumna of the University of Lagos. She also completed the prestigious Advanced Corporate Finance Program at INSEAD. Her career is marked by key roles at prominent institutions, including Executive Director at Nova Bank Limited, Director of Client Coverage and Origination at Emerging Africa
Capital, and Senior Management positions at Coronation Merchant Bank, Access Bank, United Bank for Africa, and Ecobank.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Funke serves as the Chairperson of the Women’s Empowerment Commission of Women in Finance, Nigeria, and is a passionate advocate for gender parity. She is also a member of the advisory board of her MBA alma mater, Business School, Buren, Netherlands. Funke is happily married and blessed with three amazing children.
